PureLink™Pro 96 Genomic DNA Purification Kit can be used in a high-throughput platform from a variety of High-yield, high-purity genomic DNA (gDNA) extraction from any sample type. This single kit purifies genomic DNA from blood, tissue, cells, bacteria, swabs, and blood spots using the familiar silica skirted 96-well plate format. Multiple sample sources, one kit
PureLink™Pro 96 Genomic DNA Purification Kit can be used with a variety of different sample types Each sample type has its own optimization protocol listed in the manual. Examples of sample sources and quantities that can be used with the PureLink™Pro Genomic DNA Purification Kit include mammalian cells and tissues, FFPE tissues, Oragene™ preserved saliva, mouse and rat tail, nucleated Whole blood (human, mouse), nucleated whole blood (bird), blood spots on paper, bacterial cells, and yeast cells.
Improved Plate Design
The PureLink™Pro 96 Genomic DNA Purification Kit offers an optimized semi-skirted 96-well plate (see figure ) to improve performance and results. In addition, the plate nozzle containing an annular collar prevents sample cross-contamination and improves drying of the silica membrane, thereby preventing ethanol residue. Samples can be processed manually using a benchtop vacuum manifold, by centrifugation (at a rate of ∼ 2 xg), or by automated liquid handling platforms. The semi-skirted panel design is compatible with most vacuum manifolds on automated workstations.
